If you haven’t got a Gozney Dome yet, then have you been living under a rock? Serious question.

No, I’m joking, of course. You know I’m not one to force products on people if they have a pizza oven they’re already happy with.

But if you happen to be looking for a new pizza oven, then today’s post is going to be great for you.

I’ll briefly talk about the Gozney Dome pizza oven and why I love it so much, but my focus today is really on the accessories.

Why? Because Gozney Dome accessories are some of the most unique, innovative, and exciting accessories around.

As you’d expect, they enhance the Gozney Dome experience!

If you already have a Gozney Dome, or you’re thinking of picking one out, then don’t miss my post today because I’ll be covering all of the best accessories that Gozney Dome offers.

Ready to get started? Then let’s dive right in.

The Gozney Dome Pizza Oven

The Gozney Dome pizza oven is a premium outdoor pizza oven that specializes in wood-fired cooking, giving any pizza you make in this oven an added layer of taste that’s irresistible.

It’s rare to come across wood-fired pizza ovens that are as portable as the Gozney Dome, and it’s even rarer to come across one that’s as versatile as this.

It can roast, smoke, steam, and bake, and it puts you in complete control.

Most wood-fired ovens are criticized for being more uncontrollable than, say, electric ovens or gas-fired ones.

But the Gozney Dome takes those criticisms and then improves its design, giving you the ultimate control over your cook.

Need to fire up and cook something quickly? No problem! Need to go low ‘n’ slow? The Gozney Dome can handle that, too.

As you may have guessed from my description so far, the Gozney Dome is more than just a pizza oven (that just happens to be the way I’d use it the most).

Because of this versatility, it can replace most of your outdoor cookers with no consequence.

In many cases, it actually improves on the last outdoor cooker because the smokey flavor that’s imparted into the food is so great!

With an oven mouth of 130mm by 410mm, the Gozney Dome is perfect for cooking for small gatherings or one pizza at a time.

Sure, things might take a little longer than some of the larger pizza ovens out there, but the taste is worth the wait – trust me!

Why I Love It

Just as a quick round-up, let me list the main reasons why I love the Gozney Dome so much (and why you will, too):

  • Price – right now you can pick up a Gozney Dome for $1,799.00, which I agree, is a lot. But when you consider my next point, it starts to actually seem worth it.
  • Versatility – the single best thing about it is its ability to roast, bake, smoke, and steam whatever you want to cook.
  • Control – a Gozney Dome finally puts you in charge of wood-fired cooking.
  • Flavor – cooking over wood is delicious, and the smoke and flavor that gets into the food are second to none.
  • Portability – being able to move this in bad weather is a real bonus.

Gozney Dome Accessories

Now you know about the Gozney Dome pizza oven and why I love it so much, it’s time to jump into the reason I put this post together today: the accessories.

Everything below is high-quality, exciting, and genuinely makes a difference to the cooking experience.

So you can either make pizzas more effectively or serve them more stylishly.

Either way, the accessories below will add a lot of fun to pizza night moving forwards, and I would recommend these to every Gozney Dome owner.

Gozney Dome Neapolitan Arch

The Gozney Dome Neapolitan Arch is the most exciting thing I’ll share with you today.

And the only reason for that is that it’s actually not available yet, which only makes you want it more.

The moment I heard about the Neapolitan Arch, I wanted it. The moment I saw those immortal words ‘Coming Soon, I really wanted it.

But don’t worry, it’ll be out soon, and in the meantime, I’ll just tell you about what makes this accessory so exciting.

Everybody knows that Neapolitan pizza is the holy grail of pizza, right?

It’s where it all started in Naples, Italy, and it’s sort of becoming the mecca for pizza lovers everywhere.

Some say you haven’t really tried pizza until you’ve tried a Neapolitan one.

Well, now you can enjoy a true Neapolitan pizza without having to take a flight to Italy because that’s exactly what the Neapolitan Arch is designed to do.

The arch slots into the front of your Gozney Dome pizza oven, making the opening smaller.

That means you can only fit pizzas in that are to a Neapolitan restaurant standard.

The first step to making the perfect Neapolitan pizza is getting the size right, and the second step is getting the cook right – and the arch helps here, too.

Because the opening is smaller now, the Gozney Dome retains heat much better, helping keep the inside of the pizza oven ridiculously hot, just like they do in Naples.

The fast cook gives a crisper crust, melts the cheese more effectively, and cooks everything evenly at the same time.

Being able to cook pizzas like the founding fathers of pizza in Naples – this has to be one of the best accessories I’ve seen for a pizza oven and it’s one any pizza lover will want.

Just as soon as it’s released…

Pizza Turning Peel

You might not have considered picking out a Gozney Dome Pizza Turning Peel before, but this is an accessory I couldn’t live without.

The beauty of a Gozney Dome is that it cooks pizza fast, which is exactly what you want.

But to cook fast, it needs to be hot, and that can make turning your pizza for an even cook really difficult.

Well, that’s where the pizza turning peel comes in.

Once you’ve placed your raw pizza into the Dome, wait around 30 seconds until the crust closest to the flames starts to rise faster than the crust closest to the opening.

Then, instead of risking injury by turning the pizza with the placement peel, you can take the turning peel and simply loosen the pizza from the base of the Dome.

Then slide it beneath one side. Bring the pizza towards you with a turning motion so the pizza rotates, and then slide it back in.

The slimline stainless steel design (making this peel especially durable and long-lasting) allows you to do this easily.

The weighted handle gives you full control over the motion, so there’s virtually no risk of dropping your beautifully topped pizza on the ground.

It might take some practice to get used to the turning peel if you’ve never used it before.

But I’d recommend this accessory to anybody, because it makes getting the perfect, even cook on your pizza easier than ever before.

And do you want to know the best part? It’s available at the time of writing this (unlike that pesky Arch…).

Gozney Dome Stand

What I love most about the Gozney Dome Stand is the way it completes the look of the Gozney Dome itself.

Don’t get me wrong, the Gozney Dome looks great on its own.

But when it’s teamed with this stand, it looks like a professional, but rustic cooking station, and can become a real feature in your backyard.

The timber design and metal work create a great, rustic feel that I love.

But the Gozney Dome Stand is about more than just the way it looks, because it adds to the cooking experience, too.

First, the dome stand is as portable as the Dome itself, because of the four large caster wheels that allow you to move it around if the weather should take a turn.

But don’t worry, that doesn’t make this stand any less stable because it has orientation locking and easy-to-press foot breaks to keep it in place when you need it to.

The whole thing is supported by steel powder-coated legs and aluminum cross beams.

With this, you can be secured in the knowledge that your Gozney Dome will stay exactly where you want it to.

Also, the Dome can be fixed into place by an easy fastener and it’s at the perfect height for cooking too.

On top of that, there are shelves for storage, accessories, cookware, and even some hanging hooks, so it becomes a genuine outdoor kitchen designed to work perfectly with your Gozney Dome.

I’d argue that without this stand, you don’t get the full cooking experience from your Gozney Dome, so I’d recommend it to anybody.

Dome Cover

One thing you’ll absolutely need is a Gozney Dome Cover because it protects your Gozney Dome from the elements and keeps it looking great for the next time you use it.

A cover for outdoor cooking equipment should be high-quality and capable of dealing with any weather – that’s all that’s needed from it.

And there’s no denying that the Gozney Dome Cover does exactly that!

The most impressive thing about the cover is that it fits, not only over the Gozney Dome but over the Stand above too.

So, all three work together perfectly as an outdoor kitchen area that can be covered and protected effectively when it’s not in use.

It protects against wind, rain, snow, UV, salt, insects, and wildlife, so you can be certain that the next time you uncover it, it’ll be ready to go again.

The cover’s material is marine-grade weather-resistant, yet it’s still breathable to allow moisture buildup inside to escape.

It’s quick-drying, so if it’s exposed to the rain it’ll dry off quickly before long, and its water repellent features mean the Dome and stand beneath will still be protected.

Double-stitched, durable, protective, and easy to fit – there’s nothing about this cover you can criticize.

I always champion keeping your outdoor cooking equipment protected, so it lasts as long as possible, and this cover does the job perfectly for your Gozney Dome.

Final Thoughts

I’m not here to push these products down your throats, but I am here saying ‘Hey, these products make my pizza cooking experience better, so maybe they can help you too’.

I love the products I’ve featured in today’s article, or else they wouldn’t be here.

So, whether you choose to take my advice and buy them for yourself or not, I hope you’ve at least had fun hearing about how these accessories can help you with your Gozney Dome!
